Residence of The Ambassador of The United States of America- People’s Republic of China

Michael took control of the kitchen at the official Residence of The Ambassador of the United States in 2013, at the request of then Ambassador Gary Locke.

During Ambassador Locke’s tour, Michael was charged with management and personal execution of all official and private functions at The Residence.

The following year, with the arrival of Ambassador Max Baucus, Michael was asked to lead all operations at the Residence.

“It is because of Michael’s cuisine that our official residence gained and maintained a level of notoriety and prestige within Beijing’s diplomatic community and beyond.”
